...and needless to say, the trigger blows donkey balls. d:h:

No sweat, I thought. There's vids on how to reduce the trigger weight, so I'll give them a viewing at home. Quick search, hit play.....HEY, that's not what my trigger pack looks like!

I've put my name in for one of the next batch of Timneys', but I'll ask this question anyways. Have Canadian TAR-21's always had this style of trigger?

That's the (at least) second major necro post hotrodstu77 has done. Getting a bit bored at night and surfing through every last page??
The last one was an 11 year necropost, too. Yikes.

Anyway, to answer the question:
  • Tavors shoot fine and are 2MOA–3MOA guns usually
  • The trigger is not that bad. You can replace it with an aftermarket or if you have an earlier model you can remove the adjunct trigger return spring.
  • There are a ton more NR options available here now other than the Tavor now (although I've kept mine).

The new models of tar-21 x95 and have improved triggers that feel pretty good, can also get good triggergroups from guissle-sabra, Tav-D, and Timney.

I picked up the sabra and it’s very nice, not sure if it’s worth the 400$+ upgrade from the new improved trigger, I’m not much of a trigger snob but the reduced weight of pull has improved accuracy a tiny bit, I would also recommend a gasport cover.
