I bought a Sig P226 9mm a month ago and it came with the scratchy, gritty mags stamped Sig but (I think) made by MecGar in the cheapo room, no doubt to Sigs specs. After not being able to find any decent MecGar 10 round nickle mags in Canada (My usual disclaimer, I'd buy here if shops carried what many of us want) I ordered direct from MecGar and today 5 of the smoothest 10 round nickle mags you ever used arrived. What a difference! No hernia squeezing that last round in as it has an extra quarter inch of play and the follower doesn't protest every time you put a round in. Just thought I'd mention that once again it was a pleasure buying from the States and all legal. Monica at MecGar really knows her stuff.

Same results here...

Got some Mec Gar mags to compliment my Beretta 96 mags.

The Mec Gar are easier to load to the full 10 vs. the original Beretta mags and there is no "performance" difference as far as I can tell.

John on your website those look like the mags stamped MecGar, have the solid bottom and are made in Italy. If that's the case they are the best and your price is excellent. I would recommend them to anyone as you can actually get 10 rounds into them (in my case a Sig 226-9mm) without 2 men and a small boy pushing down the follower...just one question, how do you use that little yellow disasembly tool that looks like a golf tee?? Also, wish you had stainless for the Sig.
