Best Online Stores for Reloading Equipment and Supplies

I miss being able to buy a 10 or 20 lb keg of powder. $12 a pound. Now it is just painful for me to buy anything(retired/fixed income). Shop at stores near you. Shipping kills many deals I work on. Factor in shipping and dangerous goods tax and you could buy loaded ammo. Have fun searching. That's half the battle.

First time habdloading please do yourself a favor and avoid a progressive press. You want at most a turret press so you can learn how to reload first.

In regards to online pricing (assuming you have to buy everything online) I would recommend the following :
Xreload - has everything you need!
Tenda - great deals but not a large selection
Higginson - awesome prices for buying powder online
Budget shooter supply - hit and miss but they are the only ones who carry bulk 50ae, 30-30 and 30 carbine projectiles.
Blacksheep brass for brass

I'm lucky as I have both hummasons and lawrys near me and they have prices that no one can touch on powder and primers.

I would avoid western metal. Their prices are out to lunch and shipping is a joke.

I agree, I dealt with them back when they were Ammo Mart. I wasn't trying to embarrass 4n2t0, but if he knew of a retailer with lower prices, I am truly interested. I know that Hummason Manufacturing has had good deals as well, but he won't take credit cards.

How about CFE Pistol? or W231? Maybe those aren't popular. I drive by Lawry's and Hummason everyday, twice.

If it is marked on their site "repackaged" then it is shipped in well packed plastic bags inside a box. Well packed. I see you are from Gaspe. So am I . If you want to make an order let me know.

So what are they worth at Higginson?

Both Hummason and Higginson have great prices on powder. Lawry’s too and they can’t be beat for shotshell wads, great prices. All three of these businesses could probably quadruple their bottom lines by setting up a proper online store and shopping cart like the rest of the interweb in 2019. Price lists were cool in 99-00

I don't know what your problem is sonny, but do us a favor and grow up.

I'm not sure why you're so mad sport, I didn't mean to embarrass you. I thought the post was pretty innocuous but clearly you're a very sensitive person and I'll try to remember that in future.

No hard feelings champ. :bigHug:

Well I'm glad there are no hard feelings. My feelings weren't hurt, I was just annoyed at having to waste my time responding to a juvenile who had nothing useful to contribute to the conversation.

Tenda hands down... they usuall have everything in stock at once, projectile prices are the best, primers are good. Slow getting order out, but freee shipping over $300

canada ammo - why get dominion/murum primers for $40/1000 when you can get CCI for same price. Stocked up on Dominion when they were under $27.50/1000

western metal - never has stock, if you're local not too bad

budget - decent, but shipping costs, no local pick up

All others are too small to deal with for reloading supplies

No offense intended to Tenda or yourself.....but they have very little in Stock???

The very best I have seen is Londero......with X-Reload a very close 2nd.

I did have something useful to contribute but the way I presented it wasn't up to your lofty standards. You got uber defensive at the mere suggestion that Higgison didn't always have the best price on powder. Maybe it was because of your devote loyalty? Regardless, try not to take what someone says on a forum so personally, that way you won't get mad like you did in this thread.

P.S. Responding to someone is a choice, not an obligation.
