Good-bye Tikka T1X..........

I've never found Tikka anything to be high end, usually quite overpriced value wise for what they are.
CZ has usually provided outstanding value for the workmanship put it into everything they produce. About as high end as you can get in a mid priced rifle. The regular run of rimfires especially are a bargain. This one is nice, not sure I'd bite on it for $1k, but it certainly seems in line with the quality.

And if I want a synthetic stocked rifle I want Macmillan, HS or st least KRG or a chassis option. Not the garbage Tikka synthetic stock. I’m willing to accept Tupperware on a $600 centerfire rifle with a decent action/barrel but not on a $650 rimfire that quickly turns into Cooper/Anschutz priced or more once you change that stock to something decent.

To be fair I think CZ also missed the boat with their new “tactical” version. Painted laminate? Come on. Offer a real tactical stock.

Did they not mention the manners stock version as well, it is a kick ass stock. Yes I do know I have one

Already installed. Checked the forecast and it looks crappy until the 2nd week in Febuary. I will have to be patient, or maybe the weather will change.

It doesn't need the new spring IMHO - my CZ455 did, but not the T1x.
I got mine down to 18 oz with the set screw all the way out until it touched the other allen head bolt, but set it to 1#8oz. Crisp it certainly is.
