Hey guys Im having a hard time finding a value or ballpark price on a M1 Carbine Paratrooper stock. I dont have the maker, but it has the stock cutout for the M2 FA selector. What is the ballpark value of these stocks?

During WWII, Inland was the only manufacturer that made M1A1 stocks.

Inland made the rifles, not the stocks.

The stocks were subcontracted to Overton and are marked OI. Overton in turn subcontracted out the manufacture of some parts. Inland didn't actually make any of the stocks.

Sounds like a repro if it has a selector cut. Not original USGI. Marstar used to sell these repros for $349 (I think), included handguard.

Not necessarily. Some M1A1s were converted to FA. Most all repros have the low wood and selector cut out, but that does not definitely mean it's a repro.

The simple answer is to look at the markings in the barrel channel and go from there. If there's no OI it's definitely a repro. If there is an OI, then start seriously looking at it to make sure it's not a fake.
