Why do they have to engrave the model on the stock? It gives a "cheap" feeling to it :S

On one hand Im glad the CZ 457s are finally here, on the other its disappointing to find out that the ugly engravings arent limited to the Royale and the MTR.

Not really ... When you drop $1000 on a rifle you'd expect it not to have cheesy engravings on it

Hopefully, the American and Varmint models will be more moderately priced and not have the low-class stock engraving. I'm not sure why I should have to pay a premium to advertise for CZ.

Sadly, restrained good taste seems to be mostly a thing of the past.

Nice rifle, but the engraving and the price has me more convinced that I got the right rifles with my two 455s
