3D Printed Hornady LNL Case Feeder vs Hornady Brand Case Feeder

Has anyone printed themselves one? How well does it work once properly set up?

I’m looking at picking up the hornady case feeder but they are very pricey and reviews say they are still finicky.

Looking for some guidance from someone with hands on experience.

I have the hornady branded case feeder. I have had zero issues with it. I actually got mine on the EE, was still sealed in box for much less than retail. I just put a WTB on the forum and someone reached out. I have had it for a 3 years or so now and it works great. Use it w/ 9mm, 45 and 223.

A couple of months ago I ended up making the bullet feeder w/ my 3D printer. I do find that finicky w/ 223 as the hopper seems to need to be angled just right to get projectiles flipped and fed properly. Overall I am satisfied as it does allow me to load quicker.

there are about 3 STL's for case feeders, do a search for 3d shoebox case feeder, much better than most for design. The ones on Thingiverse are decent too

I unfortunately am having a number of issues with my printer, that will take a while to resolve with my printer. I also have a small print bed, so the parts I can print are limited in size as well. Sorry guys, maybe CobraGuy can help?
