Hey guys..if I can find an affordable/convenient range I can shoot restricted some day...I'll get on the RPAL thing, but until then...

I'm considering one of the new Ruger PC Carbines in 9mm, and they accept Glock mags. (which seem to be everyone's favorites) Being a rifle, I think a longer mag "might" look better, but I know pistol mags are limited to 10 in Canada. I also know there are high capacity Glock mags, but can you get these in Canada pinned to 10, or is that a no-fly zone? Not a deal breaker for me, just curious.

thanks!

Yes they are legal
Might I suggest irunguns as they have the best prices going for them. I think I paid taxes in around $52.00 each mag

You can get the 50rnd Drum magz--pinned to 10 of course. Look pretty 'Kool' in some,..k, Most 9MM carbines.

Thanks guys! Was thinking about an FX-9 (same question would apply)..but a Ruger could happen $250 sooner. lol Wasn't even considering the Ruger until I handled one. Kinda ugly, but shoulders/points nicely, I dig the sights, and the reviews are good.

I love my pc9. One of my favourite guns to shoot.

What ever you do, Do Not Get a Chiappa M1-9! Love the Concept, but they are a cheap P.O.S, my Bolt/firing pin actually snapped in half lol. No one mentioned the Sub 2000. My Gen one runs perfect, is accurate & is one of my favorite NR guns somehow. Esp. on hikes in the bush w/ some Buffalo Bore in it. Gen 2's are pretty sweet.

Get your restricted licence while you still can because who knows what the Liberals will try IF they get elected again.
If they think no one needs handguns and "assault rifles" why would they need to keep issuing new licences to people that don't have guns to buy?
