Lighter recoil springs for P226?

You won't notice any change with a 14 lb spring when replacing a 15 lb spring. However, Wolf Springs, G37 mentions, has a Variable Recoil Calibration Pak that has 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 pound springs plus 3 extra power firing pin springs for $31.49US. Or $7.89US each for the recoil springs. No fuss getting them from the States either. Minimum international order is $25 though.
The $100 rule doesn't apply to Canada. That's twice I've seen that. Gunparts says $500 before an export permit is required.

Is the $500 figure a Canadian export amount or an American export amount?

Yes it does, talk to the State Dept. It used to be $500 a long time ago.

You can buy springs because they're not classified as SME until you get over the $100 limit.

I've bought springs from Wolff Gun Springs as well, it's good stuff.
