Just thought I should bump this to add that another member has told me that they have had one at a dealer for a 300blk conversion and that dealer's gunsmith has basically tried and experienced the exact same things that I have.
To keep a long story short they think in order for this to be 100% perfect it needs a gas block/piston redesign.
I know the RWA rifles have a larger piston. I wonder if they'd sell just their gas system to someone?
I wouldn't buy it for mine because mine is now working well enough to suit me but if someone were starting from scratch maybe that would be the way to go? I'm just not sure if the RWA gas block would fit under the WK's factory handguard.
