Ruger repair

Am I the only one that had a good experience with them? They repaired my firearm and took about 3 weeks door to door.

I had no trouble with them but it was a single ejector housing screw.
Always kinda thought how a business handles something that small was a good indicator of their overall service but I might be mistaken in some cases....

No issues at all with their service. Purchased 30mm Ruger rings and the recall on a Mark IV.
They seem to always answer emails in a timely manner.

No, you are not.

When I dealt with them, I had fast and professional service, wish all my dealings would be this painless.

They pretty well told me I was lying when I told them there was no trigger lock assy. in the case of my new Ruger Red Label. Quick call to Ruger head office sure fixed that attitude. Starting with an apology to finish an two day express trigger lock to my door.

It's possible that half of the time Snapshots is able to satisfy warranty claim or customers in a timely fashion.... it's the other half when the wheels fall and their ineptitude shines brightly.

I have been dealing with Snapshots for many years, both Michael and Carol are excellent to deal with and respond promptly and ship quickly... the preferred method of communication is email @

snapshots@videotron.ca

I should try and dig up the old email conversations with Carol...... You know how sometimes you have to send 3 emails to get the answers asked in the first email because each subsequent reply only addresses one or part of the original questions.... that's Carol.

They are also quick to deflect and place the blame with Ruger the company that pays them to provide service in Canada.

I'm sure the border and dealing with Ruger can be difficult but it's part of what you buy into when you agree to do warranty work for an American company.... the poor communication, mistaken orders etc are hard to blame on Ruger.

Hey they get it right sometimes so I guess it's possible they could further improve their game and learn from their past mistakes....... a good first step would be to stop blaming others.
