If the recoil on a 12ga auto is too much for a person they need to stop shooting 3.5" shells until they toughen up a bit.

The forcing cone on that particular gun will be proper length for modern ammo . You will gain nothing as far as patterns or recoil reduction . No sure about that model but if it is chrome lined you will do more damage than good

Never even thought of that but you are right and yes they are chrome lined as far as I remember
