I had horrible luck with my Eagle 30 rounder. It is unusable... I have repeatedly tried to contact them for replacement with zero response. However I have heard others say they have a new version which corrects the issues I have with mine so maybe they are ok now. Just make sure you get the 2nd generation version.
Something's wrong with his gun if he's jamming 5-8/30 and I doubt it's the mag... I use them in my Krinker and I had some jamming issues until I replaced my extractor with the VQ edge extractor and now it cycles perfectly.
I like eagle 30 rounders because they are cheap and work pretty reliably. I like the steel lips mags too but I am poor.
The factory 10 rd mags are the only ones that never seem to jam.
Aside from those mags, jams are just something you have to deal with from time to time.
IMHO, it has as much to do with the fouling from firing and the irregularities in ammunition as much as it does with the quality of mags.
So I say buy whatever is available in your price range... and stayaway from the teardrop 50 rd drums. ugh....

Same Ammo, Same Mods, VQ Edge Extractors, Same Trigger. Its sad when El cheap o mags are working better then his.
Who produces the best and the worst aftermarket magazines??
What's the price difference between BC and TI mags? I currently have one hot lips BC mag and it's been giving me feeding problems every once in a while...and I am obviously going to have to get more. One high cap mag is just not enough.
