I need help with exchanging my AR15 free floating rail. I’m in Montreal area if you help. Thanks

You need to be more specific. No such thing as a free floating rail. Did you mean free floating fore end? If so, what make and model. There are basic differences on how each make and model are mounted. Most attach to the barrel nut in some way. Did you google it and/or try Youtube?

I’m pretty sure the term rail and handguard are interchangeable even though calling it a rail is more of a slang term.

If you can find the name of your handguard or rifle there is often a YouTube video or forum post showing / describing assembly/disassembly though you may need some tools to put a new one back on like a armorers barrel but wrench, a tourque wrench, reaction rod/ vise block, grease, hammer and some punches.

If that sounds too damn difficult I would reccomend a gunsmith as the gas block may need to be removed for the install.
