As your first semi-auto, you're unlikely to realize how bad it is.
We've already had a couple of threads on that gun.
First contact was good: good handling and very high vis sights. Is it really that bad everyone else seems ok with it a part from a slightly heavy trigger. Anything else that seems unacceptable?

Then I found it had a lazzy recoil spring and could actually release the striker before being fully in battery.
Trigger was atrocious: I kept thinking it hadn't reset and was out of room to move back, but the gun would finally go bang.
Every other reloading the mag would bump onto some inside frame and I had to correct the angle of insertion.
Isnt the Canik twice the price in Canada? They had the MC28 for $275 in Montreal at Dantes. I'm not sure anything can compete at that price range, but seeing so many Canik reccomendations on here maybe I'm missing something, do these sell for cheap in Canada? The one store I found had them for$ 5-600
