With all that political mumbo jumbo happening with the SNC Lavallin story, i have neglected my priority of making sure i own 50 restricteds before the federal election.

Epps have 3 interresting possible score…

Desert Eagle 44 mag… 1999.00. I will buy when the price is a wee better ( can buy one at this price at Irunguns everyday of the week.

When you do you homework, you dont get excited by a price in green befure making the right calculation.:)

Glock G20C 10mm 699.00######X SOLD

R1 Commander GI 4.25 45 ACP 699.00 I bought it.:dancingbanana:

QUOTE OF THE DAY……..

“Stupid people don’t always know that they’re stupid. They might be aware that something is wrong, they might notice that things don’t usually turn out the way they imagined, but very few of them think it’s because of them. That they’re the root of their own problems, so to speak. And that sort of thing can be very difficult to explain.”

That’s what I did and it works great, no hiccups with the conversion at all.
Irunguns got a kit that come with the 44 mag, an extra 50 barrel and mag but it's pretty expensive in USD, the one at the EPPS is 2K if i could find a barrel and mag for like $400, i think that 357 Magnum is a different bolt but the 50 and the 44 have the same bolt.
Got to check that up.

You are correct, 357 mag is a different bolt and won’t work.

Irunguns got the perfect kit one black DE in 50, one barrel and one mag of 44 mag, one bolt, one barrel and one mag of 357 mag in a nice case… 2900.00 USD. Jeezzz.

R1 Commander gets my vote.

We have a winner, the best deal was the R1 Commander 45ACP same price from EPPS price CAN 699 /than USD 659 that is 873.00 CAN...

You can pick up a DE Everyday of the week for for 1450 USD that is 1960 CAN at 1999 EPPS DE is not a great deal.

So Mister ebola you win a chicken dinner.:)

GENERIC PICTURE… ( you gotta love those double diamond grips )

I had the itch for a DE a few years ago but given the cost decided I wanted to handle one first. Got a chance at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot and in 5 seconds I knew it wasn't for me. Weighed a ton and ergonomically felt like I was holding a brick (and I don't have small hands). Add to that the fact that you're stuck shooting jacketed bullets only which really pushes up the cost of reloading and walking away from it was a no brainer. They are a neat gun and apparently very accurate and maybe if we could handgun hunt they might have a niche but for 2 grand I'd much rather buy a CZ Orange or high end 45, both of which would provide me with a lot more utility. Aside from the big 'kaboom'factor (which I think would grow old fast) I have a hard time coming up with a reason for wanting one. But hey, it's your money so fill your boots.

That's a strange looking frame. Super short dust cover.

If I had the Bucks, I would get one of those Dan Wesson LASD 1911 9MM guns. You probably already have one.
