Looking for info on Maple Ridge Armory 18.6" length barrels from owners?

Got my barrel, hopefully be shooting it Friday.

Ran that exact same barrel for 3-gun last year, worked great and very accurate. Only small issue I noticed is that the chamber is very tight. No problem with factory ammo but some of my reloads wouldn't chamber all the way. Small base sizing die fixed that up.

Mid length gas system works fine for me with a normal weight BCG. When I first built the gun I tried to get a low mass BCG to work with a adjustable gas block but could never make enough gas to cycle it properly.

That is how mine is setup and functions without issues, but I here MRA is going to more rifle length pieces.

I don't understand this. Something must have been installed incorrectly.

Mine seems to be shooting alright. Around MOA so far with 75bthp loads going to try some fine tuning on those. Around .75” with a 55g vmax load i had cooked up for my old su16 years ago. Had a scope puke when i shot my first few groups so had to go back to the drawing board.

Here is my setup with the same Maple Ridge Armory barrel, also used the handguard from them as well. Shot 3 gun with it last year and it worked great

Did you try it out? How was it?

Only ran 40 rounds through it so far. AE black box 55gr was maybe 2-3 moa and S&B 55gr was just a little better. Reliability has been 100% so far. I'll do some real accuracy testing and load development once the cold weather passes.

I think it's a YHM low profile non adjustable gas block.
