Can anyone attest to the quality and durability of E-Lander 5.56 mags? Im thinking I would like to diversify my magazine collection a little more then just Magpul gen 2 and 3's. They would be for use in a couple of AR's and maybe a Tavor I'm debating on picking up. I figure why not help support our Israeli friends across the pond.

Have a total of 12 (6x5/30rnd) and (6x10rnd) very solid never had an issue – Used them in my Ruger AR556 and PSA 10.5 for about two years now!

I only own one. It’s fine as a 5 rounder but there’s nothing really special about it. Not sure what they cost now but if regular USGI surplus mags are cheaper, I’ll just go with those. Or stick with the proven PMags.

US forums are saying that they relegate E-Landers to their practice mag pile.
I mostly use 10 rd extended LAR mags ( from IRG) now so take this for what it’s worth.

I have a few of the 5/30. Very good quality mags, the rivet is kind of recessed into the spine on the ones I have so they don't drag on the lower at all. When I bought them a few years back, they were on sale for $20 and that was pretty reasonable IMO.

I bought a bunch of Okay Industries Surefeed mags from 4Gt. Okay makes all USGI mags, and sub contracts for NHRTG, Colt etc.
They are milspec aluminum USGI mags with anti tilt followers and are awesome. My Tavor had all sorts of malfunctions with PMAGS, but works perfectly with these mags.

Not sure what any of that has to do with the OP's question about Elander mags.

I have several for a few years now. No issues. They load on a closed bolt, they drop free and I havent had any issues with the follower or feed lips.
Because they are limited to 5 rounds I dont use them for 3Gun or rifle matches so I havent really abused them.

Sorry, he mentioned using them in a Tavor, my Tavor only liked the OEM mag and the Surefeed. Some versions Of Tavor a very sensitive to different magazines, and it can cause huge issues with feeding,

I mentioned it for that reason as I went through a pile of mags before finding what worked.

The ELander mag is essentially the OEM version of the HK "high reliability" steel mag, without the HK logo.

Unfortunately, the HK steel mag wasn't really the smashing success, as they have durability issue ( and heavy )

The E-Lander I have goes in and out of the mag well no problem and is built well, however it is noticeably heavier than the less expensive aluminum and plastic mags. The rivet placement on the one I have was not great as the 5th round is difficult to get in and due to this will only load it on an open bolt.
