Whats everyones thoughts on the Tikka T3 Lite for a newbie range shooter and yearly hunter

Been looking around for a while for a combo/multi purpose gun to be used at the local gun range multiple times a month and yearly hunt for deer, also wondering if there is a caliber that would be preferred?
