First, no one will ever lay charges against a sitting PM. Period. Definitely likely some staffers will get thrown under the bus, but never the PM. No future PM will ever investigate or pursue charges against the former. Two reasons, first, a grand act of paying it forward in the hope that no one goes after them if they screw up big, and second, its not classy. Once they win the election the new guy has already gotten everything good that could come of investigating the last guy.

As for hearing from JWR, it seems the liberals are already cracking under the immense power of her silence. At this point I am in no rush at all to hear from her. THe longer we wait, the longer this story stays in the front page. I want to hear her side right around the time the writ drops for the election just to remind everything about all of this 6 months from now.

You say that, but there are just as many liberals looking for a safe protest vote as there are conservatives. I bet Max splits the liberal vote just as much as the conservative vote and in the end its a total wash.
 
Hate to say it but if you think the PPC is in the running with the election being this close you may very well be delusional.

IMHO, Its people just like you that will put the Liberals back in power...cant really add much more to that! Hope you only own single shot firearms :(

When i write something down here, more than often i have chat about it with both my lawyers ( my kid sister and hubby are criminal lawyers and avid shooters).

When JWR speak, if she say trudo pressure her on a criminal matter ( the SNC Lavallin is exactly this) he will be charged with criminal behavior .


I agree with you, they wont jailed him but he could be CHARGED.

Although maybe there should be, there will be no criminal charges filed against a sitting Prime Minister.

All depend what JWR will unveil, her testimony if clear and leave no place for misinterpretation could lead to a direct criminal charge, they wont have the choice. (Quoting my lawyers on this)

Looks like they're embroiled in a ridiculous amount of scandal at the moment (more than usual) i dont think they can afford to push thru any crazy legislation at the moment, but then again we are talking about ideologically incompetent people in that party.

I've been working for years to produce and provide different kinds of shooting activities for pure sport, and found virtually no tolerance for pure sport. Canadians worship violence too much, and guns are all too easily marketed to Canadians for that purpose. The Canadian public and politics sees right through it!!! You guys can ##### and wail "injustice!" all you want, but the only ones responsible for the death of the Canadian shooting sports is the Canadian shooting "sports".

The Canadian shooting sports needs organization and participation, first and foremost. I'm up to that challenge. The question is, are you?

I certainly hope so...OR they will see this as an issue to rally the urban voters to their cause, despite scandal after scandal after scandal.
Generally speaking, the gun-control stuff has been good for them. Of course, it helps that they keep peddling 1/2 truths and outright lies to a very receptive audience. Only rural-Liberal MP's seem to be worried about negative fallout from their gun-grabbing/over-regulation...
 
If the idea that guns are too efficient for violence is true, how is it better to take away the guns and (in so doing) force violent perpetrators to use even more "barbaric" and "heinous" alternatives? Where's the logic?
 
Again how is voting for the PPC going help get Trudeau out? Kinda like cutting off your nose to spite your face but your face is still there.
 
I took the Restricted Course last year and have not upgraded my PAL to include restricted. I know I would go out and Blow at least $3-5K on Restricted product immediately. My reluctance is not the spending of the capitol rather the possibility of me having to turn in my purchases without compensation. I won`t even spend the $80 for the PAL upgrade. Once this gets ironed out I plan to proceed and enter the restricted world.

On the other hand you could find yourself were you wont be able to buy no restricteds. I believe a ban of sale is possible.
