Derya VR-60? Legal up here?

Was wondering if that was legal/available in Canada? I know the MK12 seems more popular and customizable, but I'm kinda liking the fixed A2 style/carry handle look on the VR-60.

Yes, I know I could do the same with a MK12, but it would likely require more $s I'm thinking.

It would seem the Cdn importer isn't bringing in that model. I still have no idea if it is even legal though. Irunguns (US) has it under the Rock Island label.

Have not seen the VR-60 version here, just the VR-90, 101 and 106 (different stock but the rest is the same as VR-60).

Yep, that is quite similar, but hooboy, is that one ugly stock on that thing :)
 
the VR60 is an MK10, and the VR80 is the MK12, effectively the exact same guns. You'd probably be better off getting an MK12 (significant upgrade over the MK10) and putting a carry handle sight on the rear with a front sight on the fore-end rail section.

Irunguns has one at the lab waiting for an FRT, and I'm not wanting one bad enough to drop a grand on a MK12. The VR60 comes in under $600, and I've probably got 2 years of saving money from empty beer cans before the lab decides it is the same gun :)
