Hey y’all,

I’ve had this upper for a couple years (bought used for a song, and it’s run great), but I need a couple more mags, preferably 25 rounds instead of the pinned mags I have. Anyone know which other brands work in here that fit that criteria? And where they’re at if you happen to know. Thanks!

Chiappa made an Mfour-22 pistol, thus making Mfour-22 magazines dual use and limited to 10 round handgun magazines. Googling around it looks like CMMG or blackdog magazines might work in them but I'm not sure what their capacities are or where to easily find them in Canada.

2a arms magazines work. I have the 25 capacity versions for mine. I think I'm also going to get some of their 15 rounders too for when I shoot off a bench.

You'll need to import them from the states as I couldn't find a Canadian retailer for them.

Both IRG and A Z have them. I couldn't find black dog's in stock in Canada and I wasn't prepared to put a deposit on them through Questar as there'd be no guarantee as to when/if Questar would actually get them.

At least with importing the 2a ones you'd at least get a proper estimate as to when those would arrive.

edit:

Forgot to mention the 2a's do lock back once the 2a is empty but the bolt will go forward once the magazine is removed. The 2a's also work with the ar catch 22 but you'll need to manually engage the catch 22 once the magazine is removed

I ordered some 2A mags from ## arm. 25 rounds for my CMMG conversion kit. Haven’t got them yet. But they look like Black dog mags. You can order black dog mags from Brownells. Probably your best bet. I’ve herd not very good things about CMMG mags.

Does anyone make this type of magazine with a 20 rnd body? I built up a .22 upper with a 26" heavy barrel using a Chippa bolt assembly for winter time/indoor/cheap practice and those stupid 30 rnd bodies make going prone slung up a pain in the ass.

I know 2A armament makes 15 round mags. And Black dog makes 10 round mags. Haven’t seen 20 rounders. But any of those two should work for you.
