Who still likes there M+M 10X?

Ok. I will take the other side.

Do I find the M10X a little heavy... yup .... but none the less it goes bang every time.

Do I wish it is cheaper in price .... yup.

Am I glad I have one ... yup.

Along with the SKS and type 81 :)

The DMR gimmick was a joke....propaganda to sell units! Most should know you can’t get long range accuracy out of that cartridge.
You can take this rifle out, slap an optic of your choosing and confidently take down your animal or bad guy out to 300 yards....I took over 25 beavers this summer at all ranges up to 300yrds most in the water so there head was the target....people fixated on moa like we are milatry snipers! I’m happy with mine it’s got a great stock able to mount optic and sling, forgrips without mods.
Over priced.....compared to the 81 no! Compared to the R.A no! Compared to the wk yes.
Did they #### up by selling it through N.S or 2grand yuuuuuup,!!!
At the effective range of this cartridge and my intended targets I’m very confident with the M10x standing! kneeling whatever I shoot at so far is dead.
OP who is sell the fde? It’s a surprise that N.S never mentioned fde arrival!

Agree with this! Durham Outdoors has then. I asked if it's a factory finish and it is indeed.

It would be counter productive to dredge up the past. Haha

They're really nicely made guns. I'm impressed. Their triggers are stupid light. Put the charging handle on the same side as an AK and you can have some fun doing AK reload drills. The guns action is very similar to a SG550. Lighter than I was expecting too and balanced nicely.

Cabela's is even selling them now, not hard to see they aren't moving when they hit Cabela's shelves lol.
I'll never understand the blind greed behind the M&M and NS price gouge. Sell 75 units at $2000 or 1000+ units at $1500...which one makes everyone more money?
These things were not selling for crap at $1000US down south, still aren't.

If you are going to spend 2K, get XCR-L from EE.

I have both, and IMO XCR is a better rifle and you get 10 rd mags. If we didn't have 5 round limit on mags, M10X would be preferable as it uses AK mags, they are more reliable than AR pattern mags.

While I have not shot mine, I must say it is a remarkable rifle even at the inflated price. It nicely scratches the modern AK itch. I dont disagree it could have sold better if priced comparable to the RDB, but aven at $2000 it is a bargin for a quality modern semi. The only things comparable but cheaper are old combloc semi's like T81, VZ, or AK, the later being prohib in Canada, and all 3 designs would need significant investment to even get close to being on the same level as the M10x. The next closest modernized non-AR like designs that run x39 dont use AK style mags or feature any AK like similarities at all aside from the caliber. Not much to compare really. Price is also about 50% greater than the M10x too.

Forget about the m10x. What happened was pretty crappy, but i think wanstall handled it pretty good but issuing full refunds to those who wanted them.

What I'm really excited for right now is the wk181-c!

If someone has the money, has a WK180-c, and either wants a premium IBI-barrelled upper for 7.62x39 mm or don't want to wait for the WK181-c, Range Warrior Accessories just release a 7.62x39 mm upper for the WK180-C. You can still get the WK181-C to go with it later for the proper-com block magazine lower :)

they key is that, those who like AK platforms... may not like 180c, as only AK mags links it AK...
besides 180 series have some sort of strange hump in the back, which doesn't look like nice aesthetics, but rather like a huge ass to otherwise slim woman
I am one of those, who considers M10x, but I would not consider XCR-L or 180c in 7.62x39
Amen

Bha all pure speculation except from 1 person on here.

I have 1/had 2 (just traded it) and love it. Accuracy is the same as any xcr etc.... I already did a write up and can prove it.

The price should have stayed at what Wanstalls and M+M had originally agreed upon but then a greedy canadian distributor promised more $$ in both their and M+M pockets. Soured it for me but with the Canadian distributor.

I love my m10x and stick by it, DMR safety and Bull target barrel was the idea of said Canadian Distributor to sell more and does nothing except add unneeded weight for what was to be more of a battle rifle

How are new XCR's 3000$ + and up!?!?!??!

So what are we talking about 2-3" groups at 100yards with cheap surplus? I don't have "any XCR" so I'm not sure how well they digest and deliver surplus ammo?

Yes but more or less shooting surplus ammo will be around 4 Moa

Shooting Norc non corrosive was between 2-3moa and Barnual was actually a bit worse.

That was the 1 and only time I put magnification on the rifle. Otherwise it sports a red dot and I use it for more action shooting/steel, run and gun. I'm not one for MOA semis in these types of rifles.
I have had several XCR rifles and while I did enjoy them, I prefer this more.

It literally is a SAN rifle.in x39 that takes AK mags.
NOT.swiss quality.to be exact but not also a 1000$ rifles that still have teething issies

Caliber magazines review of the gun was pretty damning.

You are right but I'll have to try and find that issue to be exact but I'm pretty sure theirs had an issue where the barrel did not have the set screw holding the barrel in the trunnion and only realized that afterwards. Thus throwing off their accuracy

Not too mention 1 ok review compared to numerous ones stateside and ones from several of us already on this forum

There is no set screw in original M10X. They tried to use one as a mod (they bought the gun), hoping it will improve the accuracy, but it did not.

The problem is not the barrel/trunnion. it's that the pic rail/handguard/upper is an attachment to barrel/trunnion part and flexes during shooting.

SG550 has no such problem, but i had to locktite the addon picrail to prevent it getting lose under recoil and that one is .223. Physics yo!:)

Sounds like a good SKS, I was interested when they were first announced, before the price hike, but I don't really need another 7.62X39 Surplus Bullet Hose..... :)

Happy with my Type 81. Like everyone else, if the price was $1500, it would be in my safe.
But I bought my Cz858 at $500 (2006). So I am as pleased as punch.
