annnnnd no, it does not come with a wooden box. this was never an option from the factory, its something the US fellers had as an add-on.

I'm unfortunately in a town that really has a piss-poor showing for gun shops, and when a Cabelas is the go-to gun store you know you have slim pickings (and their website showed preorder yesterday and today showed out of stock).
