Cabelas looks like they have them in stock in their Edmonton south store.

On a very happy note I just recieved my RPAL in the mail today for the first time, so I'm on the hunt for one of these! :dancingbanana:

You don't need an RPAL.

They are non restricted.

PAL is all you need.

Hope you find one soon.

Enjoy.

Canadian MP40 comes with 1 magazine.

The box is cut for 2, and drum mag, and fake can. So one can deduct, that this box was made for the U.S market.

and the feel. its 'Le Solide'.

annnnnd no, it does not come with a wooden box. this was never an option from the factory, its something the US fellers had as an add-on.

Why doesn't it come with 2 mags and a drum?

Not to mention the faux suppressor, all these items are legal in Canada

What gives?

Rimfire is unlimited capacity

Wasn't the dealer who brought in the Type 81 accused of stripping the extra mags that the rifle is supposed to come with accused of doing this and selling them for extra profit?

Because no one wants a MP40 with a 16" barrel and a fake can sleeve (US model)... all it does is basterdise a nice WW2 replica. We are lucky we got the UK model with only a slight barrel extension.
A drum mag would be a nice option but shouldn't come with one as it would drive up the base price significantly.

Who are distributors in Ottawa/Gatineau area that should be getting these from you? Can you share this info?
I would like to go and pick one up in person.
Thanks for bringing these in.

Please don't insinuate, and implicit us with some shady operation.

The guns came with one mag from the factory, because we ordered them like that. Keeping the MSRP under $600 was hard enough, and to leave enough meat on the bone for everyone involved. With an extra mag, plus drum, and wooden crate, would be close to a G. So no, sorry, you get one mag, and a recycled US box, to save you $.

Enjoy the gun guys!! Feedback so far has been fabulous.

Thank you for the feedback! It is solid!

I really don't understand why these didn't come gold plated... and why haven't you guys brought in the panzers that these were used with?

f:P:. Exactly. I don't understand why some people are #####ing about this gun...its awesome. I just got my license in the mail yesterday and even I know that we scored in Canada by not getting the stupid fake suppressor that hides a longer barrel that the US guys have. The price is good and an extra mag is only $50. Thanks for bringing these in Blueline.
So to continue my story...lol.
I was emailing Dave Fuller and Chris at NAS guns and ammo in Fonthill (near St Catherines) and yesterday they said they would be there today or tomorrow. Great! So I tell them to email me as soon as they are in. This morning I got an email from a lady there that says the shipment came in. Great! I drive all the way there to get my MP40 and turns out she made a mistake they weren't there yet.
At any rate...I put a deposit down on the MP40 which they said will be there by Monday or Tuesday for sure. In the meantime I ended up buying a Jard 68 bullpupf:P: hahahaha. So the Jard is my first ever gun.
Also I cant say enough about the first rate service Dave Fuller, Chris, Mark and Amy gave me. Starting from the instant email replys even after store hours and the friendly relaxed atmosphere in the store. Great bunch of people and I highly recommend buying from them.
So anyone wanting the MP40 they will be available early next week at NAS.

I got to inspect one today at big C in Abby. I have to say its the coolest looking .22 on the market but did not fit me at all. I had to do contortions just to get on the sights properly. Also weird safety. I think a lot of people will be happy, but its not for me. Unless doing mag dumps without aiming is a thing. I also had to laugh at the total lack of knowledge of the young fellow behind the counter. You know who you are. Learn the product or stay quiet.

I’ve had an Umarex legends BB version of this for some time now and I love it. I can’t wait for my .22 to be delivered to get the next step. I’ll be patiently waiting for the 9mm version as well.
