I don't think these are the best thing since sliced bread, but I like the fact you can adjust the length of pull and comb for myself and my young kids. Are these a waste of time, or actually ok? Thanks

I have one on my rem700, and it actually feels a lot better than it looks. So I am looking(down the road) to get one for my 10/22 as well.
Enough adjustment for kid use? Someone else will have to say.

I have been using one for the past 2 years it is a great stock,stable , fits well with all the adjustments that can be made. I know the comb is a different color but it was free.

Thanks so far guys, I would need a taller riser lily for my 9 yr old, the factory stock is made for irons. ( too much drop ) Has anyone seen the cheek riser kits available in Canada?

You can get them anywhere that sells Magpul stuff. Even Amazon has them.

I'm a big fan of the Magpul stocks. I have one on my Remington 870P, and I have a Hunter X-22 on my 10/22 Take Down and my most recent 10/22 project (with 10" Kidd barrel). The unique pistol grip angle, adjustable check riser and adjustable LOP are great features. As soon as they make one to fit my Ruger PCC I will be getting one for that as well.

Is that the tall cheek riser as well? I assume so as its the hardest kit to find so far from site sponsors.

Lead Hammer;
I may have a few extra black cheek risers laying around. Is it the tallest one you need?

I would assume so, it needs to fit my almost 10 yr old. I found a nice FDE stock, and tall grey cheek riser set though. Im just headed to our sports and leisure show here this afternoon to see if anything is local first before I order it all.

Regarding cheek riser height:
I have 3 sizes - the low is approx. 1 1/4" tall, the medium is approx. 1 7/8" tall and the high is approx. 2 1/8" tall. The rifle picture I posted (post #7) is actually with the medium height riser.

It comes with a zero riser, the .25, .50, .75 are optional.
For my rifle I had the opposite issue...comes with .25 but I needed the zero, which was impossible to find.
It also comes with an adjustable pressure point for the barrel which is a nice touch.

Hitzy;
I have a spare low cheek riser (flush with rear shoulder pad) in black. If that is the one you need send me a pm and I will hook you up.
Cheers
TEG

I already went the hard route and bought the 870 SGA stock for the zero riser lol. Sold the stock with the .50 on it. Now I'm good, got 2 zero's and 2x .25, which is all I'll ever need.
Have zero's on my 700 and 1022...low rings with 40mm scopes, seems the right height for me.
