Nice! I have one like that but cut and ground the ring flat then and drilled and tapped it for a small base. A small red dot works surprisingly well for shorter range hunts

It was more of a I wonder if it’ll work kind of thing, that’s all.

Surprisingly it’s actually a pretty solid mount and quickly detachable.

FLHTCUI, yup fired a few rounds out back. Worked well, but I probably will just stick with the 1-4x scope setup.
