I shot the Tommy gun here in Vancouver, my local range had it a few years back, and I was lucky enough to try a few full autos in the sin city. Would love to shoot something suppressed next time I go south of the border

I hope you had something stuffed in your ears but it's pretty amazing how far away from those days we have "progressed" in Canada in a couple generations.

I was 22,23 I think. I have weird ears, I never wear muffs, except for pistol it doesn't bother me, so far.

Not exactly - left hand forward on the butt grasping (and supporting) the weapon where the butt starts to narrow to join the receiver...... but whatever works best is usually the ‘right’ way.
this was shown to me by someone who had defended himself with one, on several occasions. you hand is farther back, it works better than gripping the butt at the small. I found,

Beat me to it. I was going to say Rods from god. Apparently capable of destroying a submarine 150 ft under the surface.
I shot a full-auto MP5 in Las Vegas...and would do that again given the chance. I'll save up extra $ before going next time around. lol To the question..and in no particular order;
