I wanted one but moved on to something else. There are 2, 3-18×50 FFP Bushnell Forge scopes available at $889.99 and with the 20 % rebate that's a smoking deal. They're like $1200 on other sites. Just trying to help someone out. Cheers

I was wondering if I was the only on that noticed! I picked up the 1 4.5-27 FFP Forge in Mil they had for 924.00!! I called to make sure they hadn't messed up on their site and when they confirmed it was a no brainer. That scope is 1200+ everywhere else and with the rebate it was a steal.

I wouldn't have called, I bought a 223 Tikka Sporter LH for 1000 less than anywhere else last week, they still have them at the same price. I was afraid to question it but this gun was pre 2004 and new. P&D ENT in Edm, CGN vendor. It came with metric threading for the scope rail, after 2004 Tikkas had standard threading.

FWIW
I have a 3-9x40 Bushnell Dusk to Dawn that I bought in 2004 it currently sits on my Coyote Rig - it works. Back in the day I paid $129.99 for the scope :)

Hey guys, what do you think about the 3-12x44 LRHS with G2H reticle for like 899.00 before rebate so 720.00 with rebate?

That is a smoking deal for the LRHS! That's one of the best crossover hunting/long range shooting scopes made, IMO/E. Completely different class of scope than the others mentioned. Would've been much more popular without the stigma attached to it with the Bushnell name. I have two, and a shooting buddy has three- shot and dialled a lot and all have been super solid and precise.

Chinese glass?
Hope that’s fake news.
Can get a deluxe model Tasco or Barska for $59.95.;)

Hard to even find an article that mentioned where they are made, I guess with paid reviews that's not something Bushnell wants to advertise, this mentions it under the 4th picture.

$1000+ Chinese scope...I suspect this is the beginning of the end for Bushnell. They have moved almost all production to China with the exception of a few Elite models.
I don't think the King Optics with KOC reticles and fluted tubes were even $1000 lol.
Bushnell made a lot of good scopes if you stuck to the Japanese models.

After playing with both the LRHS bushnell and the VX5HD, I'm leaning towards the Bushnell as the better optic.

Who in the heck would pay a thousand bucks for a Bushnell?

You need to expand your horizons. Your outdated optical prejudice is showing!

Bushnell has really upped their game in recent years and their top of the line Elite Tactical Japanese-manufactured scopes with the 34mm tubes are every bit as good as (or better than) their competition at a similar price-point. I have the $3K flagship XRS II 4.5-30x 50mm that I picked up for $2K during last year's 30% off March Bushnell discount. I bought it based on Excellent reviews State-side, and have not been disappointed. As a $3K optic it stacks up very well to the likes of my Vortex Razor HD2, but is priced $500 less....

I always been very satisfied with Bushnell, I have owned LHRS and have an Engage and they all have been great scopes for me. I have a few friends who still believe that it has to be made in Japan and be 3k to be any good but I shoot right next to them with my 1000 bushnell with no problems with tracking. I fully expect my 1000 bushnell forge made in China will be worth every penny. Remember that term Jap crap? now everyone won't buy it if its not made in Japan. Silly outdated thinking that,s what that is. Where do you think the most advanced cell phones are being put together? China. You don't think they can move quality machinery to China where they can use the same techniques and equipment with cheaper input costs i.e. labor and infrastructure? Of course they can and they do and will just like they did with the Philippines. Do a little research and you will start to see just how good some of the Chinese stuff is getting, Athlon being a good example, Delta would be another one.

Delta scopes are Japanese, they have a Chinese binocular line...
And no, there isn't a $1000 Chinese scope out there that is worth $1000. That's crazy talk lol.

just because it isn't made in China doesn't mean it doesn't have Chinese made glass. not many companies will tell you where they source their glass.
