So, strange issue. Sent X95 in to North Sylva for a barrel inspection. Came back and now the brass is gouging on the shoulder. It never did this before. Ammo is 5.56 x tac pmc. 55gr.
The interesting part: This gouge is roughly in line with the extractor. Brass always had the typical caved in case mouth that is typical with x95 brass ejection/deflection. Now that does not happen anymore, but the shoulder gouge does.. Has the timing on the rifle some how changed? Whats causing this?
On very close inspection of brass used before this, there is a very small line in the shoulder where the gouges are now, barely visible. What's going on with this rifle?
