Looks like a very basic boxlock 12 gauge with screws b*ggered - in 12 gauge. The market is very weak for such guns.
Has the stock been varnished or? It looks like the checkering is full of some kind or varnish or lacquer or? Might just be the pics.
Value around $450.00- $500.00.

I agree. Looks like there are 2 hair line cracks near the scallops in the second photo and although there is evidence that the stock was refinished, there is wear evident on the finish. Also, the bluing looks to be all but gone.

John, are you referring to the Crown/U & Crown/W marks?
