Rifles barrel for wingmaster

I have an older wingmaster with a 30 inch barrel that I would like to use for deer hunting. I’ve been looking around for a rifled slug barrel that would match the wingmaster bluing but all I come up with are express barrels which I’m sure would work but wouldn’t match the rest of the gun. Has anyone else run into this problem? If so what did you do?

Thanks

I’ve had Gravel Agency weld a cantalever mount to a rifle sighted barrel for me in the past so that is one option. Otherwise you’d have to drill and tap the receiver or use a saddle mount.

I would get your barrel threaded for chokes and buy a rifled choke. I think its a great option.

You can slug shoot deer just fine with the barrel you have... 50 - 60 yards would be no problem at all... However the rifled barrel performs better at 100 yards or more... The cantilever scope base attached to the barrel is the best system... next to that is a saddle mount over the action contained with screws through the action pin holes.

Deer dont care what the barrel looks like.

I have a 21" barrel, which was actually made for the Wingmaster, but is matte in colour. Its not rifled, but does have rifle sights. At 50m it does three shot cloverleafs, and does about a 5" group at 100m.

I have the Hastings rifled barrle. They have the finish you are looking for. They are around just got to keep looking

I have a parkerized barrel on my nice blued wingmaster. No one really notices or cares, well except for the range queens that only take pictures of their gear ;)...lol..

Remington makes a 20" gloss blued barrel with rifle sights. It is a smoothbore, but it is threaded for choke tubes and comes with a rifled tube. The part number is 24545.

These have gotten a tad pricey, but, check out Hastings Paradox rifled barrels that are built specifically for sabot slugs. I have one on my 870 that delivers rifle-like accuracy at 100M.
