Just got into the 10mm world with a XD(m) 10 (seems like a great pistol so far). Have been trying to track down for reloading some heavy (200 gr or so) hard cast lead with a fairly flat tip bullets. I see lots of 180 SWC and such, does anyone know where to find what I'm after?

Thank you!

You will have to cast your own unless someone has popped up producing them commercially. I would love some 220grn GCHC bullets at a reasonable price.

As much as I don't care for X-Metal bullets; my new pistol fed the last of what I had left no problem. They shot ok too. They offer round-nose flat point polymer coated in 180 gr. They also offer truncated cone, flat point in 200 and 220 gr. If they don't hang up in your gun, they might be just what you are looking for; from top to bottom 180, 200, 220 gr.:

Thanks! Hm they look decent, would like something a little flatter but that might be as good as it gets for ordering in Canada. Lots of good options in the US but I'm guessing they are difficult to get up here.

That 200 does look pretty close to the underwood bullet. Shipping is pricey at $35 for 500 bullets...might have to go for it though unless can find better options.

why lead?

I use this load in a G20gen4 and a Custom Caspian 1911 4", great all around load for 10mm. accurate and consistent in mine'

200gr truncated
8.2 grs Longshot
Win Large Pistol primers
OAL:# 1.260

*bear medicine and all around shooting

I picked up my brass, bullets + powder from XReload and shippied by Canpar. quick shipping

If I remember correctly I was watching a show with razor dobbs(?) and he was shooting a 10 mm and 200 g double tap ammo and using it on buffalo in Africa

Contact a local dealer and see if they can bring them in for you, and get them to get you a quote.

I'm trying for a wilderness ATC as a bear guide...from what I've read hard cast lead with a flat point is the best penetrator, although that CamPar 200 grain does look pretty decent as well!

Campro 200 gr. shoots very accurately out of my Jericho .40 S&W. Actually, campro just-about-anything shoots accurately out of all of my pistols. High quality, first rate bullets.

Henry ay Budget Shooter Supply would be one suggestion. He carries Missouri Bullets but they don't have anything in 200 gr. He might be able to get you Beartooth 200 gr WFN, though. But they won't be cheap. They list them at $31.00 USD/100.
