Testing out a new Minox ZE5.2 3-15x56 illuminated from Go Big Tactical. There's not much info online about them yet so thought i'd share some pictures and info. This is the 3-15x56 model but is also offered in a 1-5x24, 2-10x50 and 5-25x56.
The ZE5.2 is Minox's highest line of hunting scope. It is made in Germany and comes with 30 warranty.
I own 2 Minox Zp5's and the glass is on par with them (Zp5 glass is some of the best IMO). Very bright and the eye box is very large with great eye relief.
The reticle is a SFP German #4. Which I think is a perfect thickness for hunitng applications. Not to thin to lose it in trees ect. but thin enough for a good POA. The center of the reticle is illuminated and is a very fine dot and is adjustable from 0-11. Bright enough for daylight use.
Turrets are capped but can be run with caps off. They have 6 Mils per rotation and are marked well. The .5 Mil is marked with a higher line than the .1 Mil markings and 1 Mil with a higher line than the .5 Mil( see photo). The adjustments are spaced quite far apart and have positive click to them.
Scope comes with a really nice neoprene cover, turret allen key, warranty card and cleaning cloth. This model retails for around $1800 which IMO is an amazing prize for the value of these scopes! Here's some photos.
