Hi everyone,

I just realized that a combination of my two favourite aspects of different lens caps exist in one product: see through flip ups. I particularly like the Butler Creek flip ups with the red spring loaded button and google tells me they make them with transparent lids. I don't know why this match made in heaven has eluded me all this time.

Do any forum sponsors carry them? If not, can anyone recommend somewhere else to purchase? Or is there a better option than the Butler Creek ones?

Thanks for looking!

We stock Tenebraex and can get several models of the Tenebraex caps that have see-through flip up caps. They are much higher quality than the Butler Creek but also in a different price point. Contact us if you're interested in pricing out a set for a specific optic!

Thank you for your replies. The one downside to flip caps is depending on the height of the mount and size of the hinge tabs on the cover, sometimes it's hard (or impossible) to rotate the focus piece without removing the cap. Are one brand of caps better for this?
