The K11 is actually a good price. A few more up today. I was more surprised by the various Mauser prices. And whoever got that SIG 1893 cavalry did good. What a beauty!

The liungman sold for 1295plus ,wesnt that long ago they were 350-450 on the ee and would sit and not sell for quite some time, but that ship as sailed.

I would disagree, just because one person paid way to much for a rifle doesn't mean that's what its worth. If he was to sell it on the EE today he likely wouldn't get half of what he paid.

Nice Hammerli heavy barrels there too in the hunting section at Tradex
Even a lefty version

Apparently you can still buy a k31 for less then a $100 Canadian in Switzerland.
But a site sponsor is trying to tell us they are so rare that importers are buying them up at gun shows to ship over here...:jerkit:

I was checking a US vendor and they are taking deposits for a K31 shipment. 850 usd. So.....1134 cdn? I wonder if Tradex has a few? I kind of doubt it.

Swiss prices are funny. A used 30-30 post 64 is around 2000$, I cant find any K31 on the swiss sites, but a k31 magazine is 100$ or 60 CHP so I think the 100$ rifle might be an old wives tale ;)

I think the k31 is a very well made, accurate rifle. With gp11 its hard to beat for accuracy. That being said, I think the Swedish Mauser is a better overall. I think the 6.5 is a better round the 7.5 swiss. The Swede is a dream to shoot and very easy to reload. The Mauser is battlefield proven. And lastly you can find a good Swede for almost half the price of a K31. That just my opinion, though.

I sure wish we could have seen some more 1911 long rifles. Perhaps the best of the bunch in my humble opinion. Lots of 96/11s which are essentially the same, but it would be nice to find some original 1911s. Funny it seems there was only about 2 K31 in this shipment as well. Maybe the US importers bought them all up as they seem to be showing up stateside?
