I can’t decide Baby Eagle now or Mk23 later?

I’m such a mugwhump! I can’t decide if I should get a Baby Eagle now (as a birthday present to myself) or wait and get a HK Mark23 as a Christmas present (again to myself).

What would you do?

It seems that what really want is a Mark23 - so I say wait a few months.

Thanks guys! It's good to know that either choice is not a bad choice. It's also good to know that the overwhelming selection for the best choice is the Mk23. I'll wait for Santa, ( or as long as I can..). Hey, you never can tell, Xmas might come early this year. ;)

If you buy the BE now, you'll still want the MK23 later. If you buy the MK23 first you'll probably forget all about the BE.

MARK 23..... hands down :) Just picked mine up two weeks ago.

If you're thinking that the BE will give you something to do until the 23 arrives, you could always buy the BE and sell it when you have enough cash to buy the 23.

I would go with the Mk23 too, definitively.
It's the handgun of my dreams

And for that silencer... Is it some kind of decoy, or a real silencer? I thought that it was illegal...

Ill probably get slammed for this but. Go for the BE and forget the MK23 entirely. For the price of an MK23 you can get an amazing 1911. In my opinion the HK line up is grossly over priced. On top of that, since were in Canada, the protruding threaded barrel is useless to us. Hell for the price of that piece you can get so many different kinds of pistols that are half that price and perform the same if not better. However, I understand how everyone has that one peice that they must have, for whatever reason, so if the MK23 is one of those "must haves" for you then go for it. I just felt compelled to chime in and say that you can get 2 maybe even 3 amazing peices for the price of one MK23 which the only thing that threaded barrel is good for is getting snagged in a holster.

- I will now step aside and accept my beating from all the HK lovers :)

Cheers.

Oh ya, btw, extra mags for the MK23 are 60$ before taxs and shipping

So basicly, To buy and MK23 with lets say 3 extra mags, you would be looking at spending OVER 2500$ !! Good god man. My head is spinning with the other possibilities you can get with 2500$ :runaway: So many glorious 1911's could be had :D
