Looking for some input on the value of my 1919a4 semi auto gun came in .308 have several barrels

I am second owner of this gun it was unfired by 1st owner from what I was told (estate) I have had this gun for 10+ years I got it during the registry and had to register it to do the transfer I don't use it as much as I should I put maybe 3-5K through it over the years Gun is in great shape feeds belts and links no problems

gun with post war tripod pintle and t&E

barrels all in great shape, Israeli .308 one maybe a second cant remember. 30.06 USGI SG marked, 8mm mauser 8x63 Swedish with the feed tray parts for each cal as required and the boosters

between 500 and 1K links USGI 30.06

spare parts (mostly NOS many in orig sealed packages) pretty much a complete set minus receiver, sights and barrel jacket I have complete internals bolt, barrel extension, trigger housing but they would need to be machined to semi auto to be useable as they wont fit in gun complete top cover in 30.06 NOS

ammo may be included if locally sold 8x63 Swedish 3-4 1750 rnd crates on belts

tools manuals ect

Id prefer to sell whole thing as a package so im looking for input on value of above

If you’re too lazy to post pictures of a multi-thousand dollar gun, you’re not worth helping. Check the EE and other places to find out what they’re selling for.

Realistacally it’s worth about 7 to 8000
I’ve seen some listed for more but not sure if they ever sold
The M37 variant is worth a bit more then the standard 1919
Your parts kit is worth about 1500

Thanks for the useful information every single 1919a4 looks the same try google pics then you can see what it looks like. I’m several hours drive away from the gun

The guy saying 7-8,000 is very uneducated in this particular weapon. I've seen lots with much less than this go for 12,000. Just recently I came across an A6 variant that went for 13,000. If you have all the equipment to change calibers and not just the different caliber barrels you could put that thing up for 15,000 and you will get offers. The gun is easily worth 10,000 now that they cant be imported anymore and are no longer manufactured then each of those barrel and caliber change over sets are worth around 1,000$ each, then you have tools and extra accessories. You would be a bit loony to offer it for less than 14,000. Just be patient and it will be sold. You could always email a bunch of the major gun stores in Canada and let them know you want to sell. Some may have customers on waiting lists to buy them. Let me know what you wanted for the entire package as I may know some folks that are interested. Also I personally own a 1919A6 and if youd consider selling just the 30-06 barrel and the feeding gear for the 30-06 convert let me know as I'd like to change mine from a .308 to the 30-06 as I have 4 Garands and make my own 30-06 ammo.

Have a good day.
