Picked up a CZ 457 MTR in .22lr 20" a few weeks ago and was just waiting for my Area 419 30 moa rail from GBT to show up so i could get to the range. Got out today and tested some RWS Rifle Match ammo. Really liking the new trigger and action so far. Scope used was a Minox ZP5 5-25x56 with mr4 reticle.
Groups were shot at 50m. Calipers were zeroed at .223 FYI. Happy with results so far. I will update the thread as i try more ammo. Feel free to share your results as well.

The only adjustment I'v made to it is the pre and over travel. I haven't touch the weight yet. It came quite light out of the box.

Ya I agree. Was wanting to do the same. See how low it goes cause it is pretty light out of the box. I don't have a trigger scale but am curious as well. Zero creep and over travel though.

Took out my new 16 inch mtr today, had some interesting results. Went with eley contact, force, club, rem eley club extra, cci standard, rem target and a box of fed blue box. The contact, force and cci had to force to chamber 2 rounds per mag. All were garbage of these. The eley club was in the .3 to .4 range, rem eley was around .5 .6. The shocker was the blue box fed which i used to sight in was around .5 to .6.
The chamber is clearly as small as they say it is. My 455 loved the eley force, 457 hates it, was i the 3/4 inch to an inch at 50.

Took mine out as well today for some informal shooting at 50 yards with the Eley Match, Eley Edge and Remington Subsonics. The Eley Edge grouped the best.

Trigger was adjusted to 2 lbs but going to reduce the weight a little more.

Not liking the image quality of this scope at 32x, was using it way back in the days for my air rifles. May be getting a Vortex 6 - 24 x 50 FFP tomorrow on the way home.

Overall I'm happy with this purchase as well and spent the rest of my day plinking at my metal plates at 100 and 160 yards but I need some reactive targets as well now.

After reading how subsonic ammo is theoretically more accurate because the bullet doesn't transition from transonic to subsonic and blah, blah, blah. I was pleasantly surprised how accurate the Remington Thunderbolts did from my MTR at 50 yards AND much cheaper than the Eley Edge. Having said that the Eley does have a unique after smell like contact cement glue. Sniff sniff sniff.... weeeeeeeee.

12 shots total to see if the two flyers was me or the ammo... it was me.

The 5 shots to the right were the CCI Quiets.
