JP, the S&W model 25-2 in .45 acp/auto rim was manufactured from 1961 till late 1982...

Thanks HC well, i wanted to add another brand new restricted but i guess i will have to find another unicorn.

I am gonna do research with the help of a friend that own the LGS in Concord to see my possibility to export one to Canada from NH or import one in Canada with the help of one of our dealer.

It will do the same as buying new since if it come from the US it will be + 1 in Canada.

There one on the EE forum just posted now

It's no good for my quest of adding more new restricteds to the total numbers, It have to be new or unregistered in Canada before.

To bad it look nice, when i resume my used restricteds purchases, i might send a message to see if it's still available.

Is this the desire to add to the pool, not simply transfer within? Finding a new, 35 year old gun from a dealer, like they have just discovered old stock, sounds like a bit of a pipe dream though. Reliable has a used one. It is overpriced so you could pretend it is new ;-)

If it come from a canadian shooter, i am not adding to the pool, only shuffling.

In this quest i dont really care about money ( i will buy the cheapest i can ) but the fact i want to add 50 new restricteds to the pool doesnt permit that i play the shuffling game except maybe if i find a Python LBNIB at a small price but even there i dont know if i would steer away from my quest.

What pool is that?

Collector’s Source in Ontario has one too. Just read your above post. Why do they have to be new?

To add a new restricted to the pool of restricteds in Canada.

Strenght is in the number and this is a quest i decide to do after selling all my restricteds before i went for chemio since i only had a 3% chance of survival, i promise myself that if i survive i would buy back the 50 restricteds i sold with great lost.

With all the whirpool around our gun laws i decided to it into a support against a BAN, looking at it from away it me seem a small thing but imagine if 100,000 of us would go for 10 new restricteds each.

They would have to ban 2 millions restricteds instead of 1 million, it would almost impossible and make a big difference.

I did not know that they did not make new one. The S&W JM 625 4 inch could be in restricted territory with the inner part of the barrel.

I did send Irunguns a message about it for verification.

The total number of restricted in the country doesn’t matter much.

What really matters is number of voters...

We need to increase RPAL holders, not numbers of restricted to single RPAL holders...

I would argue the total number of restricteds does indeed matter. It is quoted pretty often in articles lately. I have been doing the same as Caramel, even buying guns I don't really want.
