It is very consistent and the brass looks fine. Fix it or leave it? If fix it, what is the easiest fix? Lighter buffer?
What ammo is it? Softer 223s eject further down for me.
Check the gas block. Maybe try an H1 buffer.
It runs. Who cares where it ejects? This isn’t the army, and the targets don’t fire back, so getting that perfect arbitrary ejection pattern is meaningless.

And that helps solve the problem how exactly? Brass will still be ejecting at 5:00, just not as far.
Go to the range earlier... problem solved!
