Put the precision forums back together

If you’ve been around here a while you probably know that the PRS and Square range styles used to share a forum. It used to be quite busy...good discussion. Posting dropped dramatically is seems, and it seemed to fall off as soon as the split happened. I see we’re now at a point where you can count the daily posts on one hand.

Maybe time to put these back together and see if we can get some interest going again?
 
This whole website needs an update. Way too cluttered of a forum, waaaay too many sub forums, all the add banners make it look like I'm driving into some sh*tty oilfield town that's whored itself out with all the company billboards (like Fox Creek).

I visit a bunch of forums, and this one is easily the most outdated and difficult to navigate. It also looks the least professional.

I do remember more traffic when they were together, I wouldn't mind if they were back together again.

I like the fact that it hasn't been "updated", few things annoy me more than a web resource that is constantly changing for dubious reasons. As for the links to vendors, I also like that I can have many sources of gear at my finger tips.
 
I too think they should be reunited. It's difficult to even see why some threads are in one area over the other.
 
I like the formatting on this site. The ads are there but they aren’t intrusive, click if you think of something and want to check it out.
 
Why did they separate them I don’t know. I look at the cast boolit forum I like it but it’s marred by too many sub forums like gas checks bullet lubes moulds etc. It’s ridiculous. People like to mess with things and make them not as good

It was driven by users, people who didnt like 'black precision' guns being mentioned in a forum they saw as being for Bench Rest etc, and argued that it tainted the deep discussions in this forum... ya, anyway.

Uptight folks broke up the shotgun forum as well.

It was the other way around. PRS types wanted a separate forum.
 
First some people wanted it seperated so they did that and now some people want them back together lol. I guess the old saying that you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all of the time.
If you people want to complain about something why don't you complain about how many optics threads and reloading threads are started in these two forums when there is clearly a seperate forum for both toppics

I’m not complaining about anything. Simply pointed out that this part of the site used to generate more discussion as one forum.

Why would I complain about that I can skip any threads I’m not interested in. Maybe people think they are relevant to this sub forum I wont get offended by them
