Hey all, with all of the talk about the new CZ 457 coming out, I lucked out and found a minty mint used 452 American. For some reason these seem to be way harder to find in Canada than the Luxs and varmints for some reason. I finally had a chance to bring it out for a shoot and it’s surprising how accurate the old 452’s are. The groups below are at 75 yards with CCI standards and laying down in the bed of the truck. Thought I’d share !

Not surprised at all, 452s are awesome rifles. Great shooting btw.

Ben, I have to disagree, the 452 Full Stock is the best 452 ever made :).

Ya, I'll agree with Kody. Personal thoughts, the 452 series will be highly prized possessions long after the next best, whatever that may be, after the 457. They shoot great.

Beautiful rifle, and great shooting. And..welcome to the CZ452 club. :) I have a varmint and a 16" American that hasn't been outside yet. Maybe tomorrow will be the day! :) Anyhow, if the OP's rifle shoots that well with SV...imagine what it'll do with higher-grade ammo!

Only advice to the OP~don't let that one go!

Jealous you have a 16” American! Finding one is like a needle in a haystack. And actually the American is my second CZ 452 :) See my Lux below
