They are the Gensis Arms Gen-12...a semi auto 12g (fires up to 3" shells) shotgun in the pattern of an AR-10 (minus the addition of a side charging handle). It uses 5 round detachable magazines (or larger but will obviously and sadly need to be pinned) and is threaded for chokes, Saiga ones, if you want.

They have a complete gun option which is fairly pricey BUT what is more important is they make/sell UPPERS only as well for quite a bit less. Even better is they come with an 18.5"barrel length option (makes them NR!!!) already so no need to special request that for more $$$.

Now these uppers are designed to fit on a DMPS gen 1 lower...and if I am correct they currently will NOT fit on a Stag 10 but with how common the Stag 10 is in Canada (and ever growing) I think these could be big sellers here as 12g is also a well loved gun here and having a semi auto one share your Stag 10s lower sounds really awesome!!!

12g makes a better suited dense bush/small game option too but you can keep your upper handy...push out 2 pins and swap the uppers and your back to .308!!!

AGAIN keep in mind this has a NR required barrel length and is an upper only, ie. NOT the registered part of the/a firearm so would be an "off the books" addition to your Stag 10 kit!!! :)

---

So we would have to ask/request they make a newly designed/modified upper...but again, with how many I think they will sell it should be worth it...they are a smaller and new company and any increase in business for them should be well wanted!!!

Thoughts/ideas?

Thanks!

If there could be one of these uppers that fit a stag 10, I think it would be great (without the Queen's cowboys axing the stag at that point because apparently babies die when guns can be modified legally).

I am a pump man myself, but just the fun factor in this would be a great reason to bring it in, plus would make for a very decent bush gun as well, and I think could find a place in competition use also.

I would want one just for the novelty and because, why not? Lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't an 18.5"barrel length make it restricted?
