I do like that reduced rake grip out of the gate. Charging handle looks reciprocating... not sure im a fan of that but it isn't as big a deal to me as it is to some people.

Article states non reciprocating.

Looks almost as ###y as the Scorpion.

Wouldn't it then have a long stroke gas piston system instead then?

Machining wise there isn't really a difference between producing long or short stroke pistons.

Atrocious mechanical offset.. What happened to the "bullpup is best" mentality??

Like the ACE, it's obviously for export, to sell to anyone who doesn't want a Tavor.

Good lord that thing is a special kind of ugly!

The removable barrel is cool, but the rest of the gun looks like trash I will agree

Hopefully the pricetag reflects that. I suspect the chf barrel will make its way into newer tavors?

My understanding is Tavors have always had CHF barrels.

Almost 100% of the world other than US commercial AR15 and M16 makers employs CHF - CHF is the only way to go for high volume production. Remington, Winchester, Ruger...all use CHF but with different technologies.

About this rifle, personally I am not excited. Looks like another budget rifle built along the same idea as ARX160 to go for the budget armies. Nothing special, big plastic body, tall bore height. short stroke short push rod banging on a L shaped bolt carrie. If I am to throw down more coins for another rifle, I would rather buy a more Gucci CZ 806 or Radom GROT 16.

It's marked on the barrel of X-95 rifles.

I’d take an AR any day of the week. More specifically, a SIG MCX.

That thing looks like someone was trying to solve a problem nobody had.

I mean... it DID solve a problem WE had. For now.

I was going through my Imgur uploads a couple of weeks ago and found the pic that I posted back in 2019 and I didn’t even remember this thread. I would not have expected back then that I’d eventually end up owning one. I was wrong about the Meprolight, though—the adjustable cheekpiece would probably work just fine.

Does this rifle come with a sheva shekel falafel?

Yes, yes it does. For a few shekels more …
