Hi, I have a Valmet O/U that is in need of some parts. Judging on my internet search I would be hard pressed to find more obscure shotgun parts. If you folks have any parts or pointers on where to find them that would be great. There has been some suggestion that Savage/Stevens 330 parts will fit but I haven't found anything solid on that front.
Numrich has some stuff but is out of forends.

What I need for sure:
Complete forend
Buttplate (I can put a rubber one on it though)

Maybe:
Firing pins (from what I see they seem to break pretty easy, I wouldn't be surprised if they are broken on this too)

Cheers

The Savage guns were Valmet, hard to say what is around for pieces. When Valmet shut down the sporting gun side they were marketed thru Sako for a bit, not long. Don't see many listed anywhere these days. My be worth contacting Savage, perhaps someone there can at least give you a direction to inquire in.

Krieghoff Model 32 would be the closest, at least for a 412. The Lions are different again. Try Russ at DoubleGun HQ, he is very knowledgeable, and has a decent supply of parts.

You can also look at what Tradex has in stock of Valmet O/U complete shotguns and parts. They have some Valmets in stock.
Good luck.
