MDT just came out with new ones for 99$.

I picked up a set of the MDT premier rings for my 308 rig.

They are VERY moderately priced at $90 from Go Big Tactical.. They are on the MDT sight also.

They are 4 screw rings, nice and beefy, and very clean machined aluminum. MDT says they are machined to a tolerance good enough to forgo lapping also.

After installing these I have no reason to spend more on anything else...

I run two sets of MDT Premier rings on my rifles, no complaints! And I'm super picky about rings!

The MDT rings are nice. The lower priced "Premier rings" are $99 but they are made out of the cheaper/ weaker 6061 aluminum,
so if you are mounting a BIG scope on a BIG rifle it might be a concern to you. The "Elite rings" are $199, and made of the stronger 7075-T6.
Very nice quality rings.

Another vote for the MDT Elite rings. I have them for a few 30 and 34mm scopes and they have been totally problem free.
