I know this is a long shot, but an uncle brought me his .22 rifle to see if I could find a magazine for it.

The magazine was stolen along with some change, some ammo, and other small items. The dirt bag didn't see the gun so here it is, magazineless.

It's some store brand, the only markings are "Ranger 22LR auto". It is, of course, a semi-auto. No serial number, I think probably 1960's.

Ideas anyone?

Guys, thanks.

I think y'all have it figured out. I googled an image of a Winchester-Cooey model 64, and that's just what it looks like.

Do you happen to know if those current and available Savage 64 magazines would be interchangeable?

A certain year did fit the modern Savage Mk II metal magazines. The stamped metal with the slight curve. Good luck.

I think those are the Lakefield/Mossberg Mark IIIs. The ones I've seen on the EE look fairly different from the Model 64 - they look like they have a tubular receiver like the Mark II (along with using the same or a similar magazine) and the only stock they seem to show up with looks like an early Mark I/II wood stock
