Ya me too ..but when they don’t come close ......well ....
Yup the 10 guage will do some barking very soon .....and it’s lethal out to 70 yards.....
Ask me how I know
Cause I killed them at that distance.....and buddy couldn’t believe I did it .....Jesus this and Jesus that he said ...
I looked at him and just smiled
Ah good times !
I was reading an article in Field and Stream about a new TSS load from Federal.410 #9 shot, effective on turkeys out to 40 yards.
You can put a bead on a turkey head at 70 yards? You must have some impressive vision.
I know it's new technology with few people owning such rare items, but I do believe some people use red dots and scopes on their turkey guns....

I run a scope on my 3.5" turkey gun. I can routinely break clays on the backstop at 70 yards with turkey loads. I use a custom extended .650 choke in my 12 ga.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

My comment in post 92 was a call out to a contradictory BS post....
Long range forecast looks good for opener... can't come soon enough!
Tell me about it.... Got two new hunters I am taking out this year, so that should extend the season a little bit.
