M10x Unboxing

Did you not notice the 100y targets are very similar to his 200y aswell??
Cuz his 100y are similar to 100y on my m10x yet I'm shooting crap bulk ammo but you are right at half the price

Plus look at the battle scars the wk180c show too after 1 range outing

Those scars are just brass scuffs. Easily removed.

FWIW, I found that the weight distribution on the rifle to be a bit odd. I don't own one, nor have I shot one. That said, I handled one in a LGS and found that the heavy barrel profile left the rifle feeling too heavy for a plinker.

I appreciate that a heavy front end is typical of many NR offerings, but when compared to something like the CZ/VZ or an XCR with a LW barrel profile, the M10X was noticeably heavier out front.

Thanks on the comment regarding balance. An importance issue for offhand shooters.
That said, that's why I do like my CZ/vz rifles for the nice light front balance.

Well emm, the technique is to kick it with your heel with the stock on the floor, so the barrel is kinda aimed at well you get the idea...

Not if you don't point it there lol. The gun doesn't have to be pointing straight up... You can do it safely, I've had to do it a number of times.

I've only heard mediocre things.

I know they ain't light and I dislike the 1:9 twist, but what do you mean by mediocore things? The accuracy is decent with appropriate ammo, like everything swiss they aint light. That seems to be underlying gripe along with the limited accessories and scaresque quad rail ergos.

but this is getting derailed.

What seems to be the common issues with the m10x? other than the dismal accuracy?

Really not much else it seems.

I think for most and including me, the dismal accuracy from a $2000 heavy barrel gun is enough haha

I know id personally be bothered (not a deal breaker tho) by the ejection port getting all dinged up by casings. People say "big deal, its common with other guns too" but yet ive never owned or seen another gun suffer from that. My $2000 MR1 has an aluminum ejection port similar in styling to the m10x, i fire lots of steel case thru it and to this day there is only discoloration, no dings. Same goes for my colt AR 15.

SAN SG550, B&T APC-223, Bushmaster ACR all suffer similar wear around the ejection port. It is quite common.
